ST JOHNS ELY
St. John’s cherishes it’s elementary school-age youth (referred to as ELY) and offers a number of opportunities to help them engage in the life of the congregation.
- Sunday School: Tiffany Chapman leads Sunday School for elementary age youth. They meet in the Preschool building at 9am each Sunday.
- Worship: All ELY youth are invited and warmly welcome to participate in the worship service at St. John’s. Parents and/or the significant adult with the youth can help them follow the liturgy and understand the various parts of the worship service. Youth who have not yet been baptized can received a pastoral blessing at the communion rail. Those interested in baptism should contact the pastor.
- Special activities and events: All ELY youth are invited and encouraged to invite a fried to participate in special activities such as bowling, skating and game nights when they occur.
- Service: All ELY youth are invited and encouraged to participate in service projects, such as Operation Inasmuch.
