WE NEED YOU!
Time to get serious about God’s Work~Our Hands community outreach mission on Saturday, May 16 at Lakeview Assisted Living! We gather at the church at 9am for brief send-off, then travel to Lakeview – 320 Camp Road, Walhalla – to begin work by 9:30am. Work will be completed by 1pm. This is an opportunity for St. John’s members to spend few hours making a huge difference in the lives of the residents and staff of Lakeview (and having fellowship with each other).
WAYS YOU CAN HELP
- volunteer to help with front yard maintenance- general yard clean-up, spread mulch, power wash the fence, outdoor furniture, plant some flowers
- help the residents with a simple craft project and sing along
- help prepare lunch for the residents and staff (and some of our workers). Takes place at the church
- donate food items for the lunch
- donate liquid laundry detergent, good quality paper plates, red solo cups, good quality cutlery, napkins for Lakeview residents
